Do you ever just feel like everything is too much but not sure why?..

 “I feel you girl!”

Our mindset plays a huge part in this and when our mindset is not in alignment you can feel like everything is overwhelming. You realise you are over thinking, you just cannot shut off and you will notice that you are constantly thinking throughout the night.

I recently have felt this and knew that I needed to take a break.

Especially when starting a business, it can be very busy, overwhelming and lots to think about and do. This is where our brains just go into over drive and we tend to end up getting nothing productive done. This can also happen running your business. Many clients on the books, lot of things you need to get done by a deadline as well a launch or something along side. We can easily fall into this state of mind which just ends up leading us to failure.

Energy clearings are really good for these situations and taking time for yourself to really understand your thoughts. Coming away from the work load and reflecting on what the problem is to why we are feeling this way can really help with getting things into perspective.

“We cannot wear every hat in our business”

It is so important to take these regular step backs and reassess yourself and your business. If things are not going to plan or working how you’d expect them too, this could be the reason. Your mindset plays a huge part in your success and if things are falling off track this could need realigning.

If you are anything like me a big part of my mindset shifts are not having the ‘me time’ I need. I really am one for just needing to be in my own company, not make conversations some days and if I have not had this regularly then I find my mind suffers because of it. I can become anxious, irritated, trapped, heavy, overthinking and food habits change. This is when I know I need to realign and get myself some space.

Take today for example, this is one of them days and I am writing this blog post and then going to head out to take a walk, have a coffee and spend some time with me and getting to understand my thoughts. I have noticed I have lost sight of my goals, my vision board, manifesting and meditation and I have noticed the biggest change in not only myself but work outcomes.

Noticing that you are not as aligned with your goals as you used to be and realising that your habits have changed are a big eye opener that you need to refocus. Our creativity can slow down, our ability to come up with ideas or simply complete a task that normally you can do with your eyes shut; suddenly becomes the hardest thing you have ever done is a real pin point in that you need to realign your mindset.

First thing I always do is get out in the air for a bit and take a note book so I can journal anything that pops up. Getting really clear on your pain points, diving into your subconscious and understanding if it is in fact something in your business that needs to change can be really helpful.

Sometimes we need to outsource an element of our business so that the stress can be taken off and focus can be put on the areas that we are better suited in which, we know we can show up as our best. Or simply we just need to get our to-do lists clear and focus on one goal at a time.

Allowing time for yourself to meditate, have time out, do an energy clearing can really knuckle down on the elements that are a problem so we can refocus the mind. Picking out the issues that have lead to this stage is a great start to then understanding them and finding a solution.

Personally, I find that once I have taken some time for myself and I have done a few mediations I can usually pin point the problem and refocus my mind. Mindset is a huge part of being a successful business owner and believe me when I say we all have to work on our mindsets regularly.

“You are not failing you just need to realign your mind”

Finishing this post, I must admit I did have a week or so out before coming back to it as yes I did need to realign my mind! I cannot tell you how much the tips above and the taking time for myself has really been what I needed to refocus.

We cannot all be ok all of the time and it is healthy to understand what we are feeling and acknowledge when we need time out.
